Aquarium of the Pacific – Climate Resilient Long Beach
Long Beach can already see the impacts of climate change. Climate Resilient Long Beach aims to building community resilience to protect Long Beach from climate disruptions. A climate resilient community functions and flourishes as it prepares for change, allowing it to not only survive but thrive in the face of changing conditions. Climate Resilient Long Beach highlights resilient actions, programs, trainings, and success stories from the Long Beach community that address four main impacts from climate change: heat, air quality, drought and access to water, and sea level rise.
The Collective Print Studio
The Collective Print Studio (CPS) is a fine art printmaking shop located in the Zaferia neighborhood of Long Beach, California. CPS prints professional, archival editions, books, and bound portfolios. They offer accessible community workshops while also providing affordable work space to local artists through the studio membership program. CPS embraces healthy and sustainable practices by modifying traditional processes with safer materials.
Long Beach Public Library – The Studio
With locations at the Main Library, Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library, and as a mobile service, The Studio serves as a community workspace where people can meet, socialize, innovate and collaborate using technology and resources. The studio offers a variety of weekly classes free of charge.
Martin Espino – ELECTRA AZTECA
In ELECTRA AZTECA, Martin Espino blends ancient instruments with digital processes and mixes elements of Electronica, World Music, Fusion/World Jazz and Ancient Mexican Flutes and Percussion to create a unique relaxing yet grooving quality. A highly versatile performer with almost 50 years of stage, studio, and classroom experience, Espino presents workshops, instrument building sessions and residencies that are appropriate for all ages.
TV-MA
Los Angeles based TV-MA (Therisse Van-Mar Amunatigui) is a genderfluid composer, producer, and performer. Inspired by goth melodies, R&B, and weird electronics, TV-MA produces dark, catchy tunes and pushes them into the realm of experimentalism. They are currently playing shows around the LA area while writing their first currently untitled EP.

Martín Vélez
Martín Vélez combines music, sound, science and technology into a single interactive and socially meaningful experience. He has executed live performances and studio productions that range from traditional Andean music to experimental biofeedback. His latest works aim to elicit self-awareness within the audience, both at a personal, social, and environmental level. Vélez holds degrees in Music Theory and Sound Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in Music Technology. His installation works have been presented in art galleries in Los Angeles and Bogotá.
N.Sputnik
N.Sputnik (Nicholas Dynice) is a Long Beach based photographer, video and sound artist that specializes in colorful abstract, psychedelic photos using sunlight through prisms and an assortment of filters shot on an iPhone 4. He is inspired by artists like James Turrell, Vaughan Oliver, and Alvin Langdon Coburn.
United Cerebral Palsy, Los Angeles—Toni’s Tools and Washington Reid Gallery
UCPLA Washington Reid Gallery shows thoughtful, experimental, and break-through art that re-examines what contemporary art means for both the artist and the viewer. The gallery shows UCPLA artists, Los Angeles area artists, and artists whose work connects with the UCPLA community. “Toni’s Touch”, a project dedicated to invention of art tools, brings art, communication and therapy to disabled artists. “Toni’s Tools” creator, Aragna Ker, was inspired by his little sister, Vuthona (Toni) Ker, who was diagnosed with severe Cerebral Palsy at fourteen months. Growing up with her, he found ways to adapt to her physicality and mentality that he now applies to inventing art tools for artists struggling with physical limitations.
Raitru
Raitru is a multidisciplinary artist based out of Huntington Beach, California. Her music is reminiscent of sun-kissed beach side flings with a thick base of Dembow powered rhythms. As a DJ, her go-to music is Global Bass, but she is also skilled in House and Techno. Raitru recently was invited to play Rompe Cintura at La Respuesta, one of her native Puerto Rico’s premier venues. She studied music production in Boston and has played Santurce POP and El NIe.
