MOLAA at L.A. ART SHOW

The 2017 L.A. Art Show presents new curatorial visions, galleries, installations, lectures, and artist performances that showcase premier Modern and Contemporary art. MOLAA presents an installation by artist Scherezade García titled, In My Floating World (2010) featured in the upcoming Pacific Standard Time:LA/LA exhibition, Relational Undercurrents: Contemporary Art of the Caribbean Archipelago opening at MOLAA in September 2017.

Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA is a far-reaching and ambitious exploration of Latin American and Latino art in dialogue with Los Angeles. This new Pacific Standard Time collaboration will present 60+ exhibitions and events from San Diego to Santa Barbara, celebrating diverse and rich subjects from luxury objects in the pre-Columbian Americas to 20th-century Afro-Brazilian art, from studies of individual artists to broad surveys that encompass artists from numerous countries. Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA will go beyond the visual arts to touch on music, dance, performance, literature and even cuisine.
