PHOTOGALLERY: 4th Annual Port of Long Beach Photography Exhibition

The Port of Long Beach presents its annual PHOTOGALLERY, presented in partnership with the Arts Council for Long Beach. The Port shared photographic techniques and gave local professionals and amateurs a chance to apply them on a special harbor tour. The best of these images, highlighting the hidden beauty of an industrial port, formulate this curated exhibition. The photographs will be featured in The Port to Learning, Port of Long Beach Education Gallery, a partnership between the Port of Long Beach and MOLAA that hosts exhibits featuring art produced by the local community and students.

ABOUT THE PORT TO LEARNING

The Port to Learning is a new gallery space committed to expanding visitors’ understanding of topics central to MOLAA’s mission through interactive gallery components and related educational programming. Coordinated by the MOLAA Education Department, this space presents a series of exhibitions and events, organized with the help of community members, that provide local artists and emerging curators—of all ages—a place for practice and inspiration, as well as the opportunity to explore museum careers through hands-on experiences.
